LOYALTY AND LUST🌚

Dreaming during the day is so much better than dreaming at night. I’m sure you would agree with me😂. I was fast asleep, but I swear, I could hear a very disturbing noise.I still slept trying to deny what I heard.

Finally the noise won and I stood up reluctantly. Someone was at the door, I noticed my phone was ringing as well. It was Tarima. I figured she was the one at that door so I didn’t pick up. 

I went as fast as my legs could carry me, opened the door and to my greatest surprise her eyes were heavy with tears. 

She fell into my arms with tears in her eyes
She could barely speak. She was trying to muster up a few words which wasn’t clear to me

I held her in my arms trying my best to comfort her.
I kept asking what happened but all she did was cry.

She cried harder with each question so I decided to stop.
I was getting worried but I had to stay as calm as possible.

After a few minutes of sobs and tears she finally said a few words under her breath “After all these years”.

The tears continued to flow like a river and all I could do was hand her the box of tissues and hold her tightly.

I was still confused, trying my best to connect her words to something reasonable but she kept distracting me with the unending sobs.

I held her quietly, still waiting patiently for her to spill the reason for her tears.

Finally,the tears had reduced and her speech became fluent.


“He told me he doesn’t love me anymore, Me! After all these years of building together. He said he fell out of love for me 6 months ago. He said “he found the one who completes him”. There’s a new girl now!

My grip on her loosened as I tried to assimilate what I just heard. 

She kept going on and on about how her world had crashed but I could barely hear her rants anymore. I was far too deep in my thoughts. My mind raced back to the day I received a text from tunde. In his exact words “It took me so long to realize this but you actually complete me”. But he wasn’t supposed to tell her, at least not now. She loved him as well. Her best friend’s BOYFRIEND.

Sometimes in life,things happen that are beyond our control. If you were inTarima’s friend’s shoes what would you do? Would you choose loyalty over lust or will the reverse be the case? And what do you think Tarima would do when she eventually finds out?

  5. My own is the disloyalty started 6 months ago already.

    When she knew he was still dating her best friend and is coming to tell her that, she should have set him straight. And she kept it from her best friend all those months. Haba nau

  8. Ewo oh which kain wahala be this 🤣🤣. May we not go and fall for our Best Friend Man oh . God forbid such evil 🤣🤣. My advice Sister go and pray oh there’s nothing God can’t do the lust will clear if not it will end in tears🤣🤣

    How do we know its lust though?. Yes, the girl did a terrible thing by keeping such thing from her best friend for 6 months, but how do we know its lust though?
